Bert is a musician, technologist and community leader. He is the CEO of the Cape Cod Technology Council, and Director of Community Engagement for the Blue Economy Project at the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce. An active musician, he composes and records, and leads various jazz, blues and eclectic outfits in the region. He consults on tech, web marketing and general business matters. He also consults on personal and executive development.

Bert's background includes several years owning establishments in the foodservice industry, and almost three decades in technology and marketing sales, design and development.

Bert serves on the boards of Wellfleet Preservation Hall and the Cultural Center of Cape Cod.
