What is the role of an artist in society? Should you consider (and be held accountable for) potential repercussions that arise as a result of your work?  Is “pretty art” less likely to be viewed as socially relevant? How do you handle misinterpretation of your work? What’s the difference between art that agitates vs. art that advocates?  This session promises to be a lively discussion.
